The value of individuals participating in association activities is matched by the benefits to their companies. Developing best practices models, sponsoring research projects, and taking steps toward resolving perennial industry problems are ways the AICP assists companies in their day-to-day operations. Company benefits are determined by members' interests and requirements, such as analyses of agency contracts, and an imminent industry health plan.

Educational programs, like our long-running AICP commercial production seminar, are developed to meet the production company need for competent and knowledgeable staff, and to help prepare the producers of the future. The Association's annual Membership Directory provides a wealth of useful information, including lists of service categories, film commissions, and sister associations in other countries. Assistance in clearing foreign directors and DPs to work on U.S. spots is available from the national headquarters. Expert counsel on legal affairs and a labor specialist on staff respond to company queries. Many of the AICP's associate members offer discounts or special arrangements for general members. In return, production company members seek out the services of their AICP associates.
