MARKETING REPRESENTATION

While AICP's main concern is the business of commercial production and the needs of its members day to day, the Association also recognizes the value of promoting the industry as a whole, and has developed vehicles which feature its members and commercial production. Through its website, newspaper articles, magazine columns, speaking engagements, and participation in industry conventions and panel discussions, AICP draws attention to production issues and accomplishments.

The jewel in the crown is the AICP Show. The Art & Technique of the American Television Commercial debuts each June in New York, where it is honored by inclusion in the permanent film collection of the Department of Film and Media of The Museum of Modern Art, before appearing at other cultural venues nationwide and abroad. Dubbed "America's Reel," the AICP Show is an exhibition of remarkable commercials selected by 400 advertising and production professionals. It serves as showcase of American expertise and artistry, and is an inspiring marketing piece for the U.S. production community.
