The AICP offers its members and the industry at large several opportunities each year to gain invaluable knowledge in commercial production. Whether it's learning the ins and outs of the business at one of the commercial production training seminars conducted on both coasts, the annual AICP Conference which brings together industry luminaries to discuss the important issues facing our members, or our new Veterans Initiative which offers training to recently separated veterans, the AICP will help you and your employees gain insight to this ever-growing profession.

  • AICP Seminars
    • The AICP Commercial Production Training Seminar is held each year, both in New York and Los Angeles. During the two-day seminar, attendees will be walked through the process of creating a job, from initial bidding and budgeting to the final product.  For more info, please click here.

  • AICP Conference
    • The AICP Conference is an annual coming-together of the industry to discuss hot-button issues that affect commercial production every day. Keynote speakers tackle subjects ranging from digital production to music licensing and everything in between, including the always-popular "Lawyers On The Clock." Each year, attendees walk away with a deeper knowledge of their craft and some great ideas to bring back to their places of work.

  • AICP Veterans Initiative
    • The AICP Veterans Initiative opens up career doors for those who have given so much of themselves for our country. The initiative offers entry level, three month paid opportunities for recently separated veterans to learn about the daily workings of production, postproduction or other aspects of the commercial production industry. Interested applicants will be invited to participate in a Seminar (date TBD shortly) that will provide an in-depth overview of the commercial production industry, with the opportunity to meet with industry executives looking to hire. Production is a team effort and the hours can be long but incredibly rewarding. At the end of the three-month period, hired applicants should have developed and learned the skills to work with the given team and understand his/her key role in the group.  This is an entry level training position with the opportunity for advancement and potentially long term employment.
