Under his leadership, the company has embraced the fast-growing culture and technology of creative advertising, expanding into the digital/interactive, experiential/installation and VR space, while bolstering long lasting relationships with world class live-action talent including RSA, Moxie, Caviar and Tool, the winner of the 2016 Palme D’or.

Starting out in broadcast production with BBDO and transitioning into the world of commercial production, his years of experience on both sides of the spectrum make him a notable presence at industry organizations. He can be found every year at numerous creative events & festivals including Cannes Lions, Sundance, and SXSW. He has participated in over twelve festivals, experiencing the rapid progress of interactive media and helping his digital roster to fruition with the evolution of branded content and VR.

Charlie sits on the Executive Committee for the Commercial Peer Group of the Television Academy where he is active in membership recruitment and award submissions. This program is dedicated to opening up the world of creative advertising to make way for more ethnic and female leadership.

In recent years, Charlie founded a touring showcase known as Shortlist Sessions. These are curated events intended to create a community of learning around handpicked topics and presenters, and delve deep inside the industry's influencers, creative voices and big thinkers.

In additional to his role in advertising, Charlie is an active patron of the Southern California community, supporting artistic projects such as Desert X, civic programs such as Equality California, and is a contributing member of the Elton John Aids Foundation, Organizing for Action (the Obama Foundation), and The Carter Center. He travels extensively for both business and leisure and is doing his part to protect our planet one less gas tank at a time in his electric sports vehicle.

When he takes his work hat off, he’s pushing weights, spinning at Soul Cycle, or binge-watching Netflix with his partner Kevin and their two dogs Tucker & Ozzy.
