Jason Puris is Executive Producer at Dirty Robber, an Academy Award-nominated production and entertainment company recognized for fearless storytelling and award-winning work in film, branded content and advertising. In his role, Puris has guided commercial, content and music video projects for a broad range of blue chip companies and artists.
Puris recently produced “Breaking2” an award-winning film documenting Nike’s effort to break the 2-hour marathon barrier. Dirty Robber was also nominated for an Academy Award in 2013 for its short film, “Buzkashi Boys,” and the company has received numerous honors from The One Show, Cannes Lions, AICP and The Webbys for their work in partnership with Nike, Gillette, Comcast, Showtime and others.
Puris has deep experience in both the entertainment and technology realms with a background ranging from reality TV to Internet start-ups. Prior to Dirty Robber, he was founder and owner of The Fin, a social photo-sharing app for recreational fishermen. He created the ESPN Series Guide House, and also served as executive producer for the FLW Tour, the premier professional bass tournament fishing series.
Earlier, Puris was VP of Development at Regan Media where he helped develope shows including Growing Up Gotti for A&E.
Puris holds a B.S. in Film/Video/Cinema Studies from Boston University.
