Carolyn Hill is a veteran of the commercial production industry. She is currently serving on the Association of Independent Commercial Producers East Coast Board for her third term. Over the course of her career as an agent, Carolyn has arranged $100 million in production from live action to animation to international service jobs. Carolyn Reps, which employs agent Amanda Rosenberg and is based in Midtown Manhattan, advises graphics, visual effects and production companies, as well as consulting with the production community regarding the intricacies of international production.
In the midst of her fourth year serving as US liaison for PSN, Carolyn has sent projects to shoot in Japan, Kazakhstan, Spain, Uruguay, France, Poland, Malaysia, Turkey, Aruba, Brazil, Hawaii, Mexico, Canada, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Portugal – to name a few.
From her experience at Shoot as a reporter, then as a staffer for the AICP, Carolyn launched her independent representation career in the late 1990s. Although her moniker is “rep,” Carolyn oversees her projects like an executive producer. Carolyn has served as Vice President of New York Women in Film & Television. She is also on the AICP/East Board. Her first book of poetry – Things I Don’t Want To Talk About — came out in early 2016. She has her BA from Syracuse University and her MFA in writing from Columbia University. Carolyn lives in Connecticut with her husband and three children.
