Sam currently serves a Creative Strategy Lead at Snapchat where he advises Fortune 1000 advertisers on how to best leverage Snapchat’s unique portfolio of ad products to meet media, marketing, and business goals. Joining the founding Snapchat Creative Strategy team in late 2015, Sam has led complex AR development projects for a number of brands, building an understanding for the role of the camera within the marketing funnel, and a keen sense for this can enhance Snapchatters’ everyday use of the platform. During that time, he has worked with brands ranging from Samsung to Gatorade to Bud Light, helping launch the first Super Bowl and Alcohol AR advertisements on the platform. He is inspired by how this emerging technology has fundamentally transformed the way brands connect with consumers, shifting towards a relationship of interaction and collaboration through use of the camera. Sam began his career in beauty marketing at L’Oreal USA before moving into digital media at Thrillist Media Group, where he built compelling branded content marketing strategies for top tier brands. He grew up in New Jersey, lived in Israel for a year, and went to school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He currently lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife, Dina, and Bernedoodle, Penny.
