We have the ability in our modern tech environment to access music from around the globe more easily than ever before. Music is in every corner of our culture, and continues to be an integral, soulful component of the vast amount of storytelling we do in film, television, and commercials, yet the understanding of the act of musical composition, the composer's "world,” and how to communicate with and work with a composer on a project is paradoxically at an all-time low. This panel moderated by veteran film television, and concert composer Robert Miller and a panel of guests featuring Peter Nashel of Duotone Audio Group and Andy Bloch of Human Worldwide will present a fresh window into the act of creating original music and attempt to shed light on the collaborative process between composer, creatives, producers and directors.
