Lyle Shemer is a recovering agency creative.

After having spent 15 years working at shops like J. Walter Thompson, BBDO, and Dentsu—on brands as diverse as the NFL, Nestle Tollhouse, Wild Turkey, KPMG, and Royal Caribbean—Lyle left to explore the world of advertising and marketing at Facebook.

Throughout his career, his work has been recognized by The One Show, Communications Arts, and The New York Advertising Festival, as well as by the AI-AP Awards, for his short film "Billable Hours."

If there's one thing Lyle's learned over the course of his journey from big agency to big tech, it's that a dependency on smart strategy and culturally-relevant ideas isn't so much a vice as it is a virtue
