Oriel used to be a chef. But he got sick of the long hours, intense pressure and being shouted at by men with knives.
So he got in to advertising. After starting his career in New Zealand at Colenso BBDO, he is now a Creative Director at Droga5, New York.
His work has been recognized at every major international show and The New York Times called his work for Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign "a hall of fame, effective ad."
And best of all, there are fewer knives now. Which is great.
