Avelino Rodriguez

The LIFT

A long time ago, Avelino was born in Mexico City to a civil engineer and a psychoanalyst; hence his mind has always swung between structured and thought-wandering creativity.

He studied film at a public school, where he produced and co-produced numerous features, shorts, and series.

And as his love for Mexico grew, Avelino actively looked for opportunities to bring productions from abroad that would help increase the country's film market and reputation.

And so, in 2005, he founded The Lift in Mexico, which fast became a premium destination for production, not just on the American continent but also from a global perspective.

As The Lift grew, so did its complexity to manage, which drove Avelino back to school, this time to Business School to focus on more specialized business and service operations.

He is now firmly on track to expand The Lift's capabilities to suit a more demanding production market.

Avelino is a proud husband and father of two beautiful children. He is committed to fighting Cancer by completing over 10 Fireflies Tours.

Many trees have been planted over time, with his biography on standby.
