The Mill

Thiago Porto is a VFX Supervisor/2D Lead at The Mill’s New York Studio, with more than a decade of experience in the film, music and commercial industry, with an extensive background in compositing, finishing and motion Graphics.

Originally from Brazil, Thiago has worked across the globe as a Senior Flame/Nuke Artist and VFX Compositor and is well-versed in a variety of software packages, adopting a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach to his work and creative problem-solving. Thiago has worked on campaigns for global brands such as Nike, Pepsi, Honda, Samsung and FIFA, as well as on television shows for Netflix and HBO. He has also worked on award-winning projects such as the Ciclope festival opening titles “The One Eyed Creatures”.

Thiago has also worked on a series of high-end cinematic aftermovies for the worldwide Ultra Music Festival across 26 countries and for DJ Hardwell’s “I AM Hardwell Hockenheim” show, as well as on music videos such as Fedde Le Grand’s “Where We Belong”. Since he has been at The Mill/MPC, Thiago has worked on high-profile projects for brands such as E*Trade, Gillette’s high-profile campaign “The Best Men Can Be” Mastercard’s “What’s Priceless to You?” and Facebook’s F8 keynote launch film directed by Park Pictures’ Terence Neale.
