Currently the Head of Production for an award-winning production company, Knucklehead Films, Christa Thompson began her career in entertainment over 20 years ago. Starting in the operations department at Endeavor Talent Agency (before it was WME), she then moved on to HSI Productions where she assisted in the accounting department. That is where she was introduced to the world of commercial production and her love affair with this industry began.
Quickly making her way up the ranks, Ms. Thompson would go on to freelance for some of the top production companies in LA such as HSI Productions, Prettybird, RadicalMedia, Anonymous Content, Smuggler, Caviar just to name a few.
Throughout the course of her career, Ms. Thompson has also been involved in the production of a few short films, two feature films and a handful of TV shows. Although those projects were creatively challenging and rewarding, she always returned ‘home’ to commercials.
Since joining Knucklehead in 2017, overseeing projects that span the globe has been her day to day of which she enjoys immensely. It’s never a dull moment in production, and Ms. Thompson thrives where problem solving is king…or in this case, Queen!
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Christa enjoys traveling, being outdoors and spending time with her wonderfully loud family.
